The 24th edition of the World Petroleum Congress will prove to be an important bridge between the traditional energy sector and a more carbon-neutral industry over the next twenty-five years. Many important conversations will happen in Canada to define realistic, workable paths to a net zero future.

As a verified paper author at the 24th World Petroleum Congress, you would be joining a line-up of decision-makers and experts from our industry to share your strategies to shape the future of the energy landscape, enabling real action to deliver innovations to address GHG challenges.

Technical blocks and forums form the technical part of the program of the 24th Congress and represent an important part of the entire program.

The Strategic Program is expected to address topics such as energy transition challenges, energy security, diversity and inclusion, financial and business considerations, meeting energy demand during the transition, as well as many other topics relevant for the industry and the society.

The call for papers is now open!

Choose from 17 technical forums across 4 main blocks:

2. Transition in Refining, Petrochemicals & Products

3. Transition in Gas & Transportation

4. Leadership Challenges in Transition

We invite you to send your abstracts (theses) by August 22, 2022 in order to participate in the selection of professional papers that will be presented at the specified forums .

Final papers can be submitted by the end of the current year.
